The Sond CMD is a free software for audio editing, mixing and analysis. In this article we describe the main parts of SoundCMD online app.

Overview

The sound cmd UI (User Interface) consists of the following parts:

General overview of SoundCMD parts

Each of these parts have an important role in audio editing and we cover each of them in our manual section.

Main menu

The app main menu has the following items:

File menu

The File menu provides options for audio import, export, close track, etc.

Edit menu

The Edit menu contains popular and specific audio processing options like: Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, Undo and so on. You can read the full list of keyboard shortcuts for more information.

Track menu

Sound track management such as: Split Channels, Merge Channels, convert Stereo to Mono and so on.

Effects menu

The Effects menu provides various options for sound filters, such as: Reverse, Fade In, Fade Out and more.


Audio Track View

The song view lists the waveform of each audio file that is being processed. The Track view widget allows user selection and manipulation in sound time domain.

Spectrum View

Graphical representation of sound frequencies where users can analyse, play and edit sound on spectrum level.
