Supported Browsers and Platforms

The SoundCMD app supports many modern web-browsers and platforms. This online tool is easy to use directly online without accounts.

Since the software is an online audio editor it does not require a download. No need to install plugins or third party software.

The goal is to make this app browser and platform independent. However there are some browser specifics that should take into account.

Supported Web Browsers

The latest versions of the popular web browsers should be suitable to run the Sound CMD. Some of the recommended browsers are:

Export Formats

The audio format that SoundCMD can currently export is “WAVE”.


System Requirements

The online audio editor SoundCMD has a small footprint and no significant system requirements. However, it’s system preferences are:

  • An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that’s SSE3 capable
  • Windows OS: Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or later
  • Mac OS: OS X El Capitan 10.11 or later
  • Linux OS: 64-bit Ubuntu 18.04+, Debian 10+, openSUSE 15.2+, or Fedora Linux 32+
  • Hypertext Markup Language – HTML5
  • WebAssembly (or Wasm) support
